BROTHERS IN BLUE REENTRY MISSION

WHAT WE DO

Brothers In Blue Reentry is an in-prison program, designed to give inmates an inner change and equip them to function as givers instead of takers.

The statistical results of our program is showing that fewer men are returning to prison and more men are contributing to family, work, community, church and society.

This in turn benefits you, the Tax-Payer, by saving you money.  Currently, the cost of incarceration is about $24,371.00 annually per inmate.  Every success story is a direct savings to the people of Kansas.

ABOUT

THE MISSION OF BROTHERS IN BLUE REENTRY (BIBR) IS TO CHANGE MEN'S LIVES.

We are an intensive, voluntary faith and values-based program of work and study within a supportive community that promotes transformation from the inside out.

HOW DOES BIBR DO THIS?

By providing a cognitive, faith-based curriculum that prepares men for re-entry into the community. We help heal the heart wounds and restore men's ability to make positive choices.  We teach our values from biblical point of view.  In other words, we are centered on the teachings of Jesus Christ as found in the New Testament and provide an adult education level of teaching for a variety of transformational and leadership training curriculum.

We share the love of God and show them that he is a God of second chances.  It is through our Donors, Mentors, and Volunteers who give of their time and resources that gives our men encouragement, hope and support.

GOALS

  • Create an environment of change.
  • Provide tools for productive living.
  • Build attitudes of accountability.
